Dutch
People from Netherlands, Dutch East India Company established in 1602 but they arrived in India around in 1605.
Their 1st factory: Masulipatnam (1605)
English/Britishers
The British East India Company established around 1599 -1600 but East India Company arrived in India in 1608.
1599: East India Company Built
1600: received a Royal Charter from Queen Elizabeth I to trade in India
1608: William Hawkins appeased Jahangir
1611: 1st factory at Masulipatnam (temporary one)
1613: 1st factory at Surat (permanent)
1615: Thomas Roe visited Jahangir’s court to receive the trading rights
Danish
The Danes also entered in India around 1620, their trading places like tranquebar.
French
The French East India Company was formed in 1664 AD during the reign of King Louis XIV to trade with India. French established their first factory at Surat in 1668.
